In June 1st, the national compulsory national standard GB31701-2015 for children's wear was formally implemented. This is the first mandatory national standard for children's and children's textile products (children's wear).

"New Standard" is the first compulsory national standard for infants and children's textile products (children's wear), the implementation of the transition period for two years. Products manufactured before June 1, 2016 and meeting relevant standards are allowed to continue to be sold on the market until May 31, 2018.

The related standard requirements are comparable to those of European and American countries, and the unreasonable design of rope and machinery fills the blank of our national standard; the limit requirements of six plasticizers and two heavy metals, lead and cadmium, have been increased in chemical safety, which are stricter than those of American standards; the requirements of rope and chemical safety have also exceeded those of American standards. It has passed the relevant national standards such as Japan and Korea.

The "new standard" mainly increased 4 requirements. In terms of clothing safety, the "new standard" specifies the ropes in different parts of children's clothing, such as head and neck, shoulder, waist, etc. It requires that no ropes should be allowed to exist in the head and neck of children's clothing under the age of 7. All infants and children's clothing should not have ropes protruding or fastening on the back except the belt.

In terms of chemical safety, 6 kinds of plasticizers and the limit requirements for 2 heavy metals of lead and cadmium have been added. In ornaments, accessories, decorations are required to have a certain tensile capacity, can not exist sharp points and edges, can not be easily pulled down, nor can scratch children. In addition, the standard also improved the flame retardant requirements of clothing fabrics.
